While many employers have been waiting to hear whether the new administration will repeal the employer reporting requirements under the Affordable Care Act, no such repeal has been enacted to date. That means eligible employers are required to provide their employees with a Form 1095-C by the March 2, 2017 deadline, which was already extended from the original January 31, 2017 .

Pending any unforeseen extensions, employers are also required to electronically file their Form 1094, and all corresponding 1095s, by the original March 31, 2017 filing deadline.
